EXILIO e.V.<\/strong> is a recognized association based in Germany, founded in 1995, to offer both medical and psychological help to immigrants, refugees and victims of torture. The approach used is holistic and interdisciplinary, in order to support the individuals in all their needs. In 2004, 2005 and 2017 she was awarded the “Aktiv f\u00fcr Demokratie und Toleranz<\/strong>” award by the BFDT – Bundnis fuer Demokratie und Toleranz-
Exilio e.V.<\/strong> from 2016 to 2018 has been a partner of the project “Rehabilitation, the project was about Empowerment and Integration of torture Survivors asylum seekers\u201d, helping and supporting the victims of torture, first of all in order to allow them to overcome the post-traumatic consequences and accompanying them towards integration in their new arrival country. In addition, providing an individual psychological counselling and psychotherapy, the partners of this project developed an innovative short-term group intervention approach.
